The Oberoi, Mumbai is gearing up to welcome Chef Christiaan Stoop of The Oberoi, New Delhi for a culinary showcase. From July 11 to July 14, 2019, Chef Stoop will present a special four-course tasting menu highlighting the best of European cuisine at Vetro, the hotel’s popular Italian restaurant.

The culinary experience will include fresh spring vegetables with corn purée along with a small dollop of black garlic reduction, lamb loin with potato gratin and mint jus from France, poached cucumber topped with seabuckthorn and hazelnut from the UK, and a sauce made with three kinds of mustard from Spain accompanied by confit salmon and puffed amaranth.

Other European delicacies include pressed lamb shoulder with potato gratin pickled red cabbage and red wine jus, barbequed eggplant with BBQ sauce, feta cheese and pine nuts, confit salmon with pickled seasonal vegetables, mustard sauce, black garlic and puffed amaranth and white leek veloute with mushroom croustarde and pistachio.

The menu will be available as a lunch Menu Du Jour which will feature a four-course meal starting from ₹3000 and the dinner will be a five-course chef’s gourmand menu starting at ₹5000. The menu is paired with a selection of fine wines from the ‘Best of Europe’ by sommelier.
