IndiGo has announced revised cancellation and change charges for flights on its domestic and international routes. Effective from June 28, 2019 these new charges will be applicable on, change and cancellation made upto three days before the scheduled travel date.
The charges for making the change four days before or in advance of the travel dates, remain the same.
William Boulter, chief commercial officer IndiGo said, “We have revised our flight cancellation and change fee which will help us bring down the last-minute changes to a minimum, enabling better capacity utilisation onboard. Improved processes will help us to continue providing IndiGo’s on-time, courteous and hassle-free service at affordable fares.”

According to the passenger charter released by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) in February 2019, customers can make changes and cancellations free of charge within 24 hours of booking on domestic flights, provided they have booked their tickets at least seven days in advance of the scheduled departure.
