American Airlines has announced a pair of new flights to Costa Rica launching this winter from New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport, as the airline continues to expand its service to the Caribbean and Latin America.

Daily flights from JFK to the Costa Rican capital San Jose will commence on November 21, 2019, with once-weekly (Saturday) service to Liberia, capital of the country’s Guanacaste province, launching on December 21.

American also is adding daily flights between JFK and Montego Bay, Jamaica, on November 21, and will extend its daily seasonal service from JFK to Antigua on the same date.

New York area travellers also will benefit from Saturday flights between LaGuardia International Airport and Aruba, which were launched as summer seasonal service but will operate year-round as of November 21.

American will also add a second daily flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 18, and extend seasonal service between DFW and San Salvador, El Salvador to operate year-round beginning on January 7, 2020.

Tickets for all of these flights will go on sale on July 1, 2019.
