Aeromexico has introduced free in-flight messaging on its Boeing 787 Dreamliners, following a launch of the service on its B737s in March.
The tool allows passengers to send or receive text messages through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or iMessage.
Passengers must enable airplane mode on their device and then connect to the Aeromexico wifi internet access network.
In-flight wifi packages are also available for a fee that allow passengers to download images, videos and emails or surf the web.
Aeromexico now has nine Dreamliners in its fleet, serving destinations including London, New York, LA, Madrid and Paris.
