Oenophiles can now purchase the wines, Champagnes and spirits that Air France serves on board its flights and at its Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports through the carrier’s new Air France Wine Cellar online platform.

The initiative has been developed with French wines and spirits marketplace, VentealaPropriete.com, and allows customers to purchase Air France’s wines and spirits as well as receive offers and invitations to exclusive tastings.

Customers can view the airline’s offerings at LaCave.airfrance.com. On flights with onboard wifi available, passengers will be able to immediately order what they are being served during their flight.

Air France renews its wine and Champagne list every two months, so the selection will change somewhat over time. Here are a few examples of what is available to purchase this month.

  • Champagne Taittinger Comtes des Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2007
  • Bordeaux Saint-Julien Château Léoville Poyferré 2014
  • Bordeaux Sauternes Château Suduiraut 2011 1er Cru Classé
  • Beaune 1er cru Les Bressandes 2013 Louis Jadot
  • Whisky Bellevoye

Air France was one of the winners of the Best First Class Sparkling wine category for its Taittinger Comtes des Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2007 at Business Traveller’s Cellars in the Sky 2018 awards, alongside Qantas and Cathay Pacific.
