Renaissance Taipei Shihlin Hotel
Opened in August 2018, Taiwan’s first Renaissance hotel is located in Taipei’s northern Shilin district, close to the National Palace Museum and Shilin Night Market. The ten-storey hotel has 104 guestrooms and four F&B outlets. There’s also a rooftop infinity pool, which overlooks the Shilin Official Residence that once housed the late Republic of China President Chiang Kai-shek.
Hilton Taipei Sinban
The opening of this hotel marks the return of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand to Taipei after more than 15 years. Located in Banqiao District, New Taipei City’s business district, the 31-storey hotel is close to the major transportation hub and provides convenient access to central Taipei. The hotel has 398 rooms with 38 deluxe and 14 premium suites, two restaurants, a lobby lounge and an event space of over 3,000 sqm.
Courtyard by Marriott Taipei Downtown
Opened in December 2018, Courtyard by Marriott Taipei Downtown is Marriott’s second Taipei property. It has 227 guestrooms offering views of the Taipei skyline, along with a 24-hour gym and 430 sqm of meeting space. Dining options include the MJ Kitchen, the Drift Lounge Bar with an outdoor deck, and the Executive Lounge.
DoubleTree by Hilton Taipei Zhongshan
Following the opening of Hilton Taipei Sinban, DoubleTree by Hilton had its grand opening in December 2018 as the first Hilton property in downtown Taipei. Situated in the city’s central area, the hotel is in proximity to the major business hub and a number of the cultural and historic sites in Taipei. The 106-room hotel is equipped with an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, a 24-hour rooftop fitness centre and a 68-sqm meeting space.
Kimpton Da An Hotel
Opened back in March, Kimpton Da An Hotel is the first Asian property of Kimpton Hotels and Resorts, a boutique brand of Intercontinental Hotels Group. Positioned in the eastern Da’an District of Taipei, the hotel is close to major landmarks including the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Taipei 101, the developing Xinyi business district and the Zhongxiao Dunhua shopping area. There are 129 guestrooms, a 24-hour fitness centre and a rooftop terrace.
