Biman Bangladesh Airlines is to recommence its flight services on Delhi-Dhaka route from May 13, 2019 — In 2013, the airline had suspended its services to Delhi.

As per the new schedule, flights on the Delhi-Dhaka route will be operated three times a week- Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

The national carrier of Bangladesh will deploy its Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a configuration of 12 Business class and 150 Economy class seats on this route.

With the recommencement of flights on Delhi-Dhaka route, Biman will be the only airline to operate direct flights between the two capitals.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines also has flights to 15 international destinations such as Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Riyadh, London, Dubai, Jeddah, Doha, Dammam, Kolkata, Kathmandu, Yangon, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

The airline has also announced 15 per cent discount on the existing fare on this route.
