The first Frontier Airlines flight from Boston’s Logan International Airport departed this week, bound for Orlando, boston.com reports.

The low-cost carrier announced its intention to commence daily seasonal service between the Boston airport and the popular Florida vacation destination in January. The once-daily flights utilise Airbus A320 aircraft.

More Frontier flights are coming to Boston, as well. Daily nonstop service to Denver International Airport will start on April 30, and flights to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, will begin on May 1.

Frontier also will soon commence service on several other new routes, including Nashville-Chicago O’Hare on April 30, from Cleveland to San Francisco and Charleston, SC, also on April 30, and from Branson, Missouri to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Orlando on May 1.

The airline has added a total of 34 new routes in 2019, and flies to more than 100 cities with 350-plus daily flights in the United States, Canada, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
