In Las Vegas, bigger is almost always considered better, and the new Club LAS Lounge at McCarran International Airport certainly makes a big splash.
Tripling the size of the facility it replaces, the new 7,000-square-foot lounge has seating for 149 travellers and features dedicated zones for productivity, relaxation, rest, replenishment, and refreshment.
Amenities include work desks and counters, reclining chairs and ottomans, hot and cold buffets, a bar and “hydration station” with fruit and herb-infused waters, and shower suites.
Travellers can access the new lounge space on the airport’s concourse level between Tumi and Brooks Brothers, near gate 33.
A second lounge operated by the same company, Airport Lounge Development, is in Terminal 3 across from gate E2. Together the two lounges have seating for 315 guests.
Club LAS is available to Priority Pass members and for anyone willing to pay the $40 fee for a day pass. AAA members can get discounted entry. The lounge is open daily from 0500 to 0030.
“Providing a world-class customer experience is essential to our mission at McCarran, and the addition of this club greatly enhances the level of services and amenities we’re able to offer to customers of several of our largest airlines, as well as key international air carrier partners,” said airport administrator Clark County director of aviation Rosemary Vassiliadis.
“With this increased space, more airport visitors will be able to use this dedicated lounge to relax, grab a bite to eat, freshen up or connect before their next journey.”
