Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, SpiceJet, said, “We are extremely delighted to announce the launch of these new flights. The industry is currently facing a severe shortage of capacity and SpiceJet remains committed to making all possible efforts to minimize passenger inconvenience.”
Alike IndiGo, SpiceJet is also strengthening its network from Mumbai — last week, the low-cost carrier started flights on Mumbai-Varanasi, Mumbai-Chennai, and Mumbai-Kolkata route.
Simultaneously, a huge emphasis is also given on its international expansion— the airline is starting flights to Hong Kong, Jeddah, Dubai, Colombo, Dhaka, Riyadh, Bangkok and Kathmandu from Mumbai effective May-end.
