Airbnb has partnered with Louvre Museum for a special experience — On April 30, two lucky guests will be able to spend a night at the iconic museum and enjoy a bespoke tour.

Along with exploring the classic artworks, this exclusive affair also includes a Renaissance-inspired aperitif experience that is set up right in front of the Mona Lisa and a lavish feast in the pop-up dining room featuring Venus de Milo. Furthermore, guests will be treated to an acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s apartment.

Guests will retire to their bedroom in a mini-pyramid, specially created under the Louvre Pyramid to celebrate the building’s 30th anniversary.

Commenting on this one-of-a-kind experience, Anne-Laure Béatrix, Deputy Managing Director of the Musée du Louvre said, “We are happy to offer this unique and special experience for two people to stay in the museum overnight, in a bespoke pyramid shaped bedroom. We know that many people would love the opportunity to wander alone at night through the Louvre and we want this to be a magical and unforgettable experience. With Airbnb’s partnership, we hope to encourage more people to discover how truly accessible and inspiring the wonders of art can be.”

Airbnb’s collaboration with Louvre will extend beyond this special contest — Starting from May until the end of the year, a range of exclusive experiences at the museum can be booked through the Airbnb platform.
