Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced its rapid expansion plans for India this year. This will include the addition of over 2,100 guestrooms through the opening of more than 14 new properties over next two years.

Along with key cities, the hospitality giant is also focussing on establishing its presence in upcoming cities —Hyatt properties will be opened in eight new markets in India.

Hyatt’ s expansion in the country began with the launch Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa. New to the Hyatt portfolio, the Alila brand also added two new properties in India — Diwa Goa and Fort Bishangarh.
