Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is to debut in Mauritius with the launch of Anantara Mauritius Resort. A 15-minute drive from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, the resort will be located near Blue Bay Marine Park. The resort is scheduled to open in Q4 2019.
Anantara Mauritius Resort will feature 164 guest rooms and suites, with eight luxury pool villas. The resort is inspired by colonial architecture and will incorporate many locally-sourced design elements.
The F&B options include Sea.Fire.Salt, a specialty grill and seafood restaurant with courtyard and beach dining, an all-day dining restaurant, private dining with a wine cellar, a wellness-focussed café and two bars.
A 30-metre ozone-based swimming pool and signature Anantara Spa are some of the recreational amenities for guests to enjoy.
With a strong focus on sustainable practices, the resort will have solar technology for water heating in all guest rooms, reusing water for irrigation and cleaning.
