InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of seven new Holiday Inn Express properties in India. These include hotels in Pune, Hyderabad, Nashik, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. In 2017, IHG collaborated with SAMHI to rebrand 14 hotels in India to Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Yeshwantpur is located at a distance of 40 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru. The 118-key hotel is in close proximity to the World Trade Centre and major tourist spots in the city.

As a part of this expansion, IHG has opened two new hotels in Hyderabad — The 148-key Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad HITEC City and 168-key Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad Banjara Hills.

Then there is the 132-room hotel, Holiday Inn Express Ahmedabad Prahlad Nagar situated at a distance of 17 km from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

IHG’s newly opened Pune properties include Holiday Inn Express Pune Pimpri and Holiday Inn Express Pune Hinjewadi. The two hotels are in close proximity to the major technology hubs and local shopping centres in the city.

Additionally, the hospitality brand also debuts in Nashik, with the launch of Holiday Inn Express Nashik Indira Nagar. The 101-key hotel is also a short 20-minute drive from Nashik Road Railway Station.
