Radisson Hotel Group will introduce its upscale Radisson Collection brand to Poland in May.
The 311-room property in Warsaw’s business district was previously part of the group’s midscale Radisson Blu brand.
Its lobby, communal areas and restaurant are currently being renovated. The hotel will feature meeting and event spaces with capacity for 400 people.
The hotel will be operated by Radisson Hospitality AB, which was recently acquired by Chinese giant Jin Jiang Hotels.
Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “Located in the heart of the city, this property becomes part of a select group of 25 hotels to have joined Radisson Collection since last year. We’re grateful to our partners, Europa Capital, for their trust in our people and our brands.”
Radisson Collection launched in March 2018, when Sweden-based Radisson Hotel Group changed its name from Carlson Rezidor.
