Airbnb has announced the launch of Plus Homes in India. Airbnb Plus is a selection of high-quality homes with hosts having great reviews.
Currently available in over 41 cities globally, Plus homes offer the highly-rated hosts nine times more visibility, and facility to earn 75 per cent more than other listings.
Airbnb Plus homes are inspected on aspects such as a thoughtfully-designed house, well-equipped space ensuring maximum comfort and well-maintained accommodation.
Nathan Blecharczyk, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Airbnb said, “We think there’s a rising tide here in India. Travel to emerging economies is expected to increase at twice the rate of travel to advanced economies from now until 2030, which is a truly promising opportunity for Airbnb in India.”
Further commenting on emerging travel trends in India, Amanpreet Bajaj, Country Manager, Airbnb India said, “Increasingly, more Indians want to travel on a frequent basis which is a millennial trend, and with 410 million millennials—more than the entire population of the US—making up the dominant segment of consumers; our focus is on making sure there is an Airbnb for everyone.”
