SpiceJet will deploy its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on this route.
Jeddah is the airline’s ninth international destination. Last week, the low-cost carrier announced direct operations between Hyderabad and Jeddah, March 25 onwards.
Following these new services, SpiceJet aims to strengthen air connectivity between South India and Jeddah, a key commercial and tourist spot in Saudi Arabia.
Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Sales and Revenue Officer, SpiceJet, said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of our new flight connecting Kozikhode with Jeddah right after announcing direct flight connecting the key pilgrim destination to Hyderabad. We are very sure that the new flight will benefit thousands travelling between the two cities for pilgrimage, business or leisure.”
