Hilton is to open a 145-room Curio property with views of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The hotel will be housed behind the Grade II listed Creed Court building on the corner of Ludgate Hill and Creed Lane, and is scheduled to open in 2022.

Facilities will include a ground-floor restaurant and bar, as well as a barista café, and six floors of rooms, some with views across to St Paul’s Cathedral, which is located around 100 metres from the hotel.

The St Paul’s Creed Court Hotel London is being developed by Dominvs Group, which is also building the first hotel under Hilton’s Motto brand in London’s Marylebone.

Hilton currently operates two Curio Collection properties in the UK – The Trafalgar St James London, and Lincoln Plaza London, the latter of which was recently reviewed by Business Traveller.

In addition the Dominvs Group is developing the 120-room Hampton by Hilton London City, expected to open in 2021 close to Whitechapel Station in London’s Aldgate district.

Outside of the capital Dominvs Group has also announced for a Hampton property in Bath. The 206-room hotel will open on James Street in 2022.

Commenting on the forthcoming properties, Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, EMEA, Hilton, said:

“Hilton’s brands are growing rapidly in the UK, with more than 180 hotels trading or under development. We’re seeing growing consumer demand at every price point, and these hotels will add exceptional new rooms in prestigious urban locations.

“Dominvs Group is a key partner and has the vision and expertise to bring these projects to fruition. We look forward to welcoming guests to the new hotels.”
