In a recent announcement, Jet Airways has altered the penalty framework for ticket cancellation and changes for flights on its domestic network.
Starting from February 7, 2019, charges for changes including flight, date, sector, booking class, cabin, and refund penalties for ticket cancellations at least seven days prior to the date of travel will attract lower penalties as compared to the booking changes that are done within seven days.
Penalty charges of INR 3800 will also be imposed on the “flex” category of Business class — as per the full-service carrier’s website, till date, no cancellation charges were levied on this category.
