IndiGo has added Istanbul as its 16th international destination. Starting from March 20, 2019, the low-cost carrier will operate daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Istanbul. IndiGo will deploy its new Airbus A321 aircraft on this route.

The announcement comes almost a month after IndiGo signed a codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines — to offer better connectivity and flexibility on sectors between India and Istanbul in addition to further boosting the IndiGo’s international expansion plans.
