British Airways has unveiled changes to its World Traveller Plus service, including new menus and amenity kits.
The changes will roll out over the next few months, with a new dining menu launching on February 1.
This will see passengers offered a third main meal option, as well as a “more substantial hot second meal later in the flight”.

BA said that the launch menus will include:
- braised British beef with roast new potatoes, onion soubise and bourguignon sauce
- roasted guinea fowl with braised red cabbage, green beans, roast potato and mustard and chive jus
- rigatoni pasta in a creamy garlic and herb sauce with leek, pumpkin and baby spinach

The new dining menus will be followed in the spring by new amenity kits, quilts and pillows.
The carrier launched a new World Traveller Plus seat last year, which is being fitted to selected B777 aircraft operating from Gatwick, and which features a 50 per cent larger IFE screen, and six-way adjustable leg, foot and headrest.
The new seat will also be line-fitted to BA’s new A350s when they are delivered from later this year – aircraft which will also features the carrier’s brand new business class product.

Commenting on the news Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience, said:
“This latest tranche of our £6.5bn [US$8.4bn] investment is set to improve World Traveller Plus and customers will see a real change to the cabin.
“In February the new menus will launch, followed in the spring by the introduction of new amenity kits, quilts and pillows for added comfort and a touch of luxury.”
