Breitling is set to launch its first capsule collection — Navitimer 1 Airline Editions that celebrates the golden era of aviation and the prominent airlines during that time, starting with Swissair.

The first timepiece to be introduced is the Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 Swissair Edition which is composed of a 43mm case with sapphire glass and a black dial along with silver subdials. The caseback features a Swissair logo. The piece comes with a stainless-steel mesh bracelet and black leather strap that perfectly fits your wrist.

Georges Kern, Chief Executive Officer, Breitling says, “We are introducing these Airline Editions in a new capsule collection that is produced for a limited time and consequently in a limited volume, but the watches are not numbered.

“With these capsule collections, Breitling aims to tell specific stories rooted in the history of its core collection. This distinguishes them from our limited editions, which will retain their original intent: to be limited to a small, fixed number of watches.”

The Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph Airline Edition timepieces are powered by the Breitling manufacture calibre 01 and come with a power reserve of up to 70 hours. The watches are also mechanised to calculate airborne navigation.

The capsule collection will be available at Breitling boutiques and official retailers from April 2019.
