World Sacred Spirit Festival (WSSF) is back with its 12th edition which will be held from February 22nd to 24th 2019 at Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur.

Presented by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust, the festival celebrates music by presenting global artists and their performances. Some of the showcases to look forward to this year include- Raga on the Lake by Mohammad Aman presenting Khayal; Learning Music with Langas and Manganiyar Children and Nawab Khan;  and Flamenco with the Langa Tradition by Jackson Scott of Spain.

Sharing his views on the upcoming edition of WSSF, Gajsingh II of Jodhpur- Marwar, said, “We are extremely proud to present this year’s World Sacred Spirit Festival (WSSF) this February again. Music always plays the most sublime role in bringing about world harmony, for music embodies the Universal Spirit and the oneness of our creation.

“Sufi and Sacred traditions of Music transcend the barriers of nations, nationalities and religions. Music embodies the universal truth that we see in universal love, universal light, universal awareness and universal wakefulness. This year too, we are bringing some of the world’s finest for you to have an even more exhilarating experience of elation”

Over the years, WSSF has urged its audience to explore the depths of soulful music that transcends borders and time. The past editions have seen impeccable artistry at the hands of Madan Gopal Singh and Irfan Tufail Haroun Teboul.
