
Ministry of Civil Aviation, in partnership with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), is organising its first Global Aviation Summit in Mumbai on January 15-16, 2019. Following this, the aviation ministry aims at highlighting India as a potential aviation hub in addition to discussing the future of aviation.
Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation tweeted:
The event will witness sessions and discussions with prominent global aviation ministers from Bangladesh, Nepal, Laos, Poland, Russia, Kuwait and Myanmar among others. Some of the features include planned sessions about drone applications in aviation, safety and security, financing and leasing, new innovations and building great aviation businesses which will transform the global aviation industry.
Meanwhile, Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation has launched a mobile application for Global Aviation Summit, 2019. The application available on Playstore and iOS will provide updates about the event and enable users to interact with co-delegates and speakers. civilaviation.gov.in
