German airline Lufthansa has opened another lounge in Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 1.

The Panorama Lounge adds to Lufthansa’s two existing business lounges in the Terminal 1A area, which the airline said were experiencing high demand.

The space was formerly the Fraport VIP Lounge, operated by Frankfurt Airport. Lufthansa told Business Traveller it has undertaken light renovations.

The lounge adds 1,100 square metres of Lufthansa lounge space to the Terminal 1A Schengen area.

The Panorama Lounge is opposite Gate A26 and has a main area with a food and drink buffet as well as smaller working rooms, a smoking area, a relaxation room and four showers.

It is open Monday to Friday between 0600 and 2100.

Andreas Otto, Lufthansa’s Group Product Manager for Premium Airlines, said: “I am delighted that by renting the Panorama Lounge we can once again offer our lounge guests the service they have come to expect from us.

“In addition, we have planned several further renovation and expansion measures in the lounge area at our Frankfurt hub, which will further improve the lounge experience for our guests.”
