GoAir has added Kannur as its 24th domestic destination. The low-cost carrier will commence its operations from December 9, 2018, coinciding with the inauguration of Kannur International airport.
Under this new launch, GoAir will connect Kannur with Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai — The Kannur-Bengaluru route will be operated six times a week, Kannur-Hyderabad four times a week and Kannur-Chennai three times a week.

This new service by GoAir is expected to offer better connectivity to the tourists and business travellers from North Malabar region, who otherwise have to travel to Mangalore International Airport or Calicut International Airport to reach other destinations across the country.
Meanwhile, GoAir also plans to start international services from Kannur following regulatory approvals. goair.in
