The Collectionist Hotel Sydney
Opened: May 2018
Described as Sydney’s first “choose your own adventure” hotel, The Collectionist Hotel Sydney has flipped the traditional room selection model on its head. The Camperdown district property has just 39 individually designed suites, however instead of simply allocating rooms to guests in advance the hotel invites guests to take a look at their available rooms upon arrival and pick the one that best suits their preferences. That being said, if you’re a regular guest and have a particular favourite room you are able to reserve this in advance (frequent guests also get free upgrades and late checkout). Other highlights include digital check-in services and daily social drinks.
