United’s new premium economy cabin, Premium Plus, officially goes on sale today for flights on 21 international routes departing from March 30, 2019 onwards.

The US carrier began introducing its new Premium Plus seats earlier this year, though until today they have been marketed as economy without the full range of premium economy services.

The new service offering will include complimentary checked bags, Premier Access check-in and priority boarding, a welcome meal, mid-flight snacks, and pre-arrival dining service. Passengers will also have access to a range of beverages, including beer, wine, and other complimentary alcoholic beverages, while other amenities include a Saks Fifth Avenue blanket and pillow, an amenity kit and noise-cancelling headphones.

Premium Plus is currently available on three of United’s aircraft – its Boeing 777-300ER, 777-200ER and 787-10 Dreamliner. These three aircraft also all feature United’s newest Polaris business class seat product and service, which Business Traveller recently reviewed.

Below is the schedule for when Premium Plus will be available to book on each route.
