Emirates is to introduce a fleet of new high-end buses for the convenience of airside passengers at Dubai International Airport.

Since Dubai International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, an initiative like is expected to streamline the airport operations. It will also offer comfortable air travel experience to the passengers, especially business travellers who are frequently on the go. Unnecessary delay and passenger hold-ups will be avoided.

The new buses will shuttle Emirates passengers between terminals and its aircraft at remote ends. The Dubai-based airline has already deployed ten buses, and additional 30 will be delivered by January 2019.

The state-of-the-art buses are equipped with easy ramp access, fold-up seats, microphones for announcements, and flight information systems. The functioning of this airside transfer buses will be managed by Emirates’ airport services and its ground handling staff.
