Boeing has created a special livery for its 787th Dreamliner aircraft, which will be delivered to China Southern.
The manufacturer posted images of the aircraft on its Twitter page, along with the following message:
“The 787th 787 #Dreamliner is freshly painted! This jet will soon join China Southern’s fleet. With 210+ new non-stop routes around the world, the largest windows and other cabin comforts, it’s no wonder passengers love it. @CSAIRGlobal“
The aircraft features the wording “787th Boeing 787” emblazoned in red and blue on the fuselage.
China Southern has a total of 30 B787-8 and B787-9 aircraft on order, with 17 delivered so far.
Japanese airline ANA was the launch customer for the Boeing Dreamliner in 2011 (Business Traveller was of course at the delivery ceremony at Boeing’s Everett factory in Seattle).
To date over 40 airlines have taken delivery of B787 Family aircraft.
