Scoot, a low-cost carrier owned by Singapore Airlines, will be shifting its operations from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 of Singapore Changi Airport. This move is scheduled for the last quarter of 2019.

Following this, the airline aims at enhancing its checkin and boarding process in addition to strengthening its growth plans.

Lee Lik Hsin, Chief Executive Officer, Scoot said, “The move to T1 will be beneficial for several reasons, chief of which being that it will allow us to continue serving our growing customer base comfortably and meet their needs for a fast and fuss-free pre-flight experience. We are working hard to achieve a seamless transition for our customers, employees and service partners, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our new home in T1 next year.”

Furthermore, Singapore Changi Airport is also upgrading airport facilities to support airlines for their development. changiairport.com, flyscoot.com
