Serviced accommodation provider Saco will open a new aparthotel property close to Moorgate Underground station next month.
The Moorgate is housed within a Grade II listed building on London Wall, around 150 metres from the station, and features 27 studio suites and one-bedroom apartments.
Accommodation features include kitchenettes with Smeg appliances, free wifi, Smart TVs with Google Chromecast, and air conditioning, while design elements include “locally inspired, limited print artwork by Artiq, custom-made furniture by Gubi and Saba Italia, and feature lighting by Flos”.
The hotel is currently offering an introductory rate of £146 per night for stays in December, January and February.
Last year Saco announced plans to open six new properties by 2020 – the group’s latest hotel under its design-led Locke brand is set to open in Manchester this month, and a 104-unit annexe to the existing Leman Locke in London’s Aldgate district is scheduled for completion in mid-2019.
