There are still a few tickets left for readers to join us at tonight’s wine tasting evening at the Stafford hotel in London’s St James’s.
The Stafford’s 380-year-old wine cellar will provide the perfect backdrop for the event, which will commence with a welcome drinks reception, before renowned Master Sommelier Gino Nardella takes guests on a journey through the magnificent cellars followed by the ultimate wine tasting tutorial.
Built in the 17th Century by Lord Francis Godolphin and used as an air raid shelter during World War II, these fascinating cellars house over 8,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines.
The wine tasting evening takes place on Monday November 19, with welcome drinks and networking from 6pm, followed by wine tasting with carefully matched canapes from 7pm.
