OYO has announced the launch of its hotel chains in Indonesia, thereby further expanding the brand’s presence in the South-East Asian hospitality market. As a part of this, OYO will start operations with 30 properties, functioning under lease or franchise agreements in three cities- Jakarta, Surabaya, and Palembang, in Indonesia.

OYO is to invest $100 million in this project, with the aim of opening properties in over 35 Indonesian cities by 2019. Through this, the hotel chain aims to offer affordable accommodations for business as well as leisure travellers.
