“A good watch completes my outfit,” said Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian Cricket Team, while unveiling his limited edition Tissot watch on Wednesday evening.

The cricketer, who has been associated with Tissot, a Swiss watch brand, from the past three years reveals the Tissot Chrono XL Classic Virat Kohli Special Edition watch. It has three unique features that share a special connect in his life.  Firstly, its striking navy blue leather strap that reflects the Indian team jersey colour, Secondly, its white silk-printed caseback has his name and initials engraved in a navy blue colour along with his signature, which Kohli thinks is quite cool.

Lastly, he focusses on the detailing inside the watch. He says, “If you see, the stopwatch number 20 is replaced by 18, representing my Indian team jersey number, which is very close to me.”

We feel that this classy timepiece is a perfect fit for both – formal or informal events.

With a diameter of 45mm, the watch runs on the Quartz Chronograph Movement. Other specifications include water-resistance up to 10 bars, and a 316L stainless steel case.

Talking about the specifications of a watch, Kohli says, “The factors such as the mechanism and the design of the watch are really important to me. I wouldn’t wear a watch that doesn’t look or feel good. The same goes for the specifications. I should be aware of its features and what it does.”

The number of units produced for the Tissot Chrono XL Classic Virat Kohli Special Edition watch is 3018. (Guess the math here)
