Japan Airlines plans to launch a new non-stop service between Tokyo Haneda and Manila on February 1 next year, in a move that will give the carrier a total of three daily flights between the two capital cities.

The new service will operate once per day, joining the airline’s current two daily services between Manila and Tokyo Narita.

According to the airline, the new flights have been scheduled to coincide with its early morning domestic services out of Tokyo Haneda, with arrival in Tokyo set for the early hours of the morning.

Japan Airlines will fly its Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route, which features 12 JAL Skyluxe Seats in business class and 132 in economy. Business class is laid out in a 2-2 configuration in the single-aisle aircraft.

Tickets will be available to purchase starting next Wednesday, September 12 with a campaign for JAL Mileage Bank frequent flyer members due to be announced at a later date.
