On September 6, Marriott Hotels, in collaboration with TED, will be hosting an exclusive TED talk in India’s Silicon Valley – Bengaluru. This is the second Marriott TED Salon in the Asia-Pacific region, the first one was held at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park.
Following this global partnership, Marriott hotels is strengthening its mission of inspiring innovation, invention and creativity.
The event will be held at the Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, which is in close proximity to the International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB), which houses the headquarters and research centers of numerous multinational companies.
This Marriott TED salon will see three international speakers – Zubaida Bai, a women’s health advocate from India, Asha de Vos, a marine biologist and educator from Sri Lanka and Trang Tran, an agriculture entrepreneur from Vietnam, sharing stories and experiences on the subject of ‘Women in Innovation.’
This event will follow similar TED Salons held at Marriott Hotels in Vancouver, Medellin, Boston, Cairo and Athens this year. marriott.com
