Hyatt has opened its first hotel in the Colombian capital Bogota.

The 372-room Grand Hyatt Bogota is located within the city’s Ciudad Empresarial Sarmiento Angulo commercial district, close to the Corferias and Ágora Bogotá convention centres.

Features include 50 suites, with views ranging from the Andes, the city or the hotel’s inner atrium garden, and there is a a Grand Club Lounge for club guests, offering complimentary continental breakfast and light refreshments throughout the day.

Facilities include a 3,000 sqm spa facility with indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy pools, fitness centre and 11 treatment rooms, as well as meeting and events space including a 1,000 capacity Grand Ballroom.

For dining there is the upscale Ushin Japanese and Grill, all-day dining Capitalino restaurant, Illustre Bar in the lobby area, and Aldeana Market for coffee, pastries and snacks.

The Grand Hyatt Bogota is the second Hyatt property in Colombia, joining the Hyatt Regency Cartagena on the country’s Caribbean coast.
