Westin Hotels and Resorts will be debuting in the Maldives with the launch of The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort. Developed by Belluna Co. Ltd, Japan and Asia Capital PLC, Sri Lanka, this luxury property is expected to open in October, this year.

Located on a coral island in the Baa Atoll, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is inspired from the oceans and focuses on environmental sustainability. The 70 key-resort will feature 41 villas and suites on the island and 29 over water. The overwater suites are amongst the largest a resort has to offer in the Baa Atoll region.

Its F&B options include Island Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant serving Chinese, Indian and Maldivian delights, The Pearl for Japanese cuisine, and Hawker for authentic Asian food. Guests can also enjoy tapas and cocktails at The Sunset Bar.

Westin’s signature spa, the Heavenly Spa by Westin, the 24-hour Westin WORKOUT fitness center and the Westin Kids Club are some of the recreational facilities that will be available at this property.
