JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, is all set to take guests on a savoury journey to the Levant; discovering the intricate delicacy of the Eastern Mediterranean through- Arabesque, an awaited ten day pop up menu starting from August 20, 2018.
Master Chef Nicola Kadmos of JW Marriott Marquis Dubai will take over the JW Café Kitchen and bring forth the refined and delectable flavours of the Levantine cuisine. With over 15 years of experience in regions such as Fujairah, Dubai, Qatar and Syria, Chef Nicola will present an opulent assortment of traditional Arabic dishes incorporating elements of Nicola’s rich culinary experience.
You can choose from a variety of delicacies including Kibbeh Bil Thum (traditional lamb meatballs filled with burghul and pine nuts served with garlic yoghurt sauce), Halloumi Makli (fried Halloumi cheese with traditional pickle), Mashawi Mushkala (mixed grill served with oriental rice and biwaas), Saz the traditional flatbread filled with zataar and cheese, Rubiyan Majboos (grilled tiger prawns with majboos rice) Lamb Manakeesh (flatbread filled with lamb mince, served with garlic sauce), Lamb Ouzi Kabsah (kid lamb cooked whole with rice and traditional spices).
One of the the most popular aspects of the Levantine cuisine is Mezze- usually served at the beginning of multi-course meals. Find an array of Mezze at Arabesque, such as the classic Hummus made with chickpeas ground with tahina paste flavored with olive oil, Moutabel made using char-grilled eggplants blended with tahina paste and garlic and Fattoush toasted Arabic bread salad with cucumber, tomato, olive oil, vinegar and pomegranate sauce.
Top off the meal with exquisite traditional middle eastern desserts like the Kunafa, Baklava, Umm-ali, Kataifi.
