Travelodge has relaunched its Bar Cafe menu.
The new menu offers two courses for £12 and a complementary children’s menu. It has vegan and vegetarian dishes, salads including a superfood option, eight types of brioche burger, as well as chicken tikka masala, beef bourguignon and steak and ale pudding.
Travelodge has also extended its bar menu with a wider range of drinks such as a gin menu including Tanquery 10 and pink gin, red and white wines, prosecco and champagne. The new improved dinner menu is the latest move in Travelodge’s “brand transformation programme” which aims to “give to customers a higher quality, improved experience”.
The hotel chain says that it worked closely with its business, leisure and family customers to design its new menu, in order to capture the changing tastes of modern budget travellers.
The new menu supports Travelodge’s breakfast menu at just £8.25 and the unlimited lighter breakfast at £5.95. For each paying adult two children eat for free.
The brand has 566 hotels in the UK, with 180 having the on-site restaurant, Bar Cafe.
In its non-Bar Cafe hotels, earlier this year Travelodge launched a partnership with itsu with an ‘eat beautiful’ range of convenience noodles and Asian-inspired snacks to be consumed in the room or for take-out.
