Qantas has introduced digital boarding passes to Heathrow.

The passes were first introduced by the airline on domestic services, then Trans-Tasman flights between Australia and New Zealand in May 2017, before progressively rolling-out across the international network.

Qantas expands digital boarding passes beyond domestic routes

They are now available at Heathrow. They allow eligible customers travelling internationally to finalise check-in and passport checks online and use the digital boarding pass on their mobile device.

Passengers who check-in on their laptop or computer can access their digital boarding pass on a smart device via Manage Booking. Previously, customers who checked in via digital channels (desktop computer) were required to print their boarding pass at home or the airport.

Qantas says that flights between to the USA and a small number of remaining ports will be available later this year.
