CastaDiva Resort and Spa is set to be rebranded as Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como in 2019. The change was announced after Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group took over the management of the former Lake Como resort.

This luxury resort includes 76 spacious rooms and suites spread across nine villas. Guests will also be able to book two villas in their entirety in order to enjoy a private retreat. Almost all accommodations here offer lake views that can be enjoyed from either a balcony or terrace.

Additionally, the resort will also feature four restaurants and bars, including a lakeside terrace for al fresco dining. A spa with an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor floating pool on the lake are some of the recreational facilities that will be available at this property.

James Riley, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, said, “We are delighted to be extending the Mandarin Oriental brand to the shores of Lake Como which has long been a destination of choice for luxury travellers. We look forward to bringing the group’s exemplary service to the resort and to working with our partners to create one of Italy’s most exclusive properties,”.

Presently, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group operates up to 31 hotels and eight residences in 21 countries and territories.
