British Airways has revamped its champagne and sparkling wine offering for premium customers inflight and on the ground.

First passengers can choose from Canard-Duchêne Charles VII Champagne, and Champagne Jeeper Brut Grand Rosé in First lounges, while inflight they will be offered Gusbourne English Sparkling Wine and Lanson Rosé Champagne.

Meanwhile Club World customers now have the choice of Canard-Duchêne Cuvee Léonie Brut Champagne and Champagne Besserat de Bellefon inflight.

Note that Castelnau champagne will continue to be served in the carrier’s Galleries business class lounges, and Laurent-Perrier’s Grand Siècle will continue to be served in First. Club Europe customers are offered Castelnau champagne in quarter sized bottles.

BA said that “Improved food and drink represents part of the airline’s ongoing £4.5bn investment for customers”, including the restaurant-style dining service launched in Club World last year.

Business Traveller reviewed the new dining service on a flight between Heathrow and New York shortly after it was launched.
