Starting from November 2, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will be launching non-stop flights between Singapore and Los Angeles. The airline will be deploying its new Airbus A350-900ULR on this route. Additionally, non-stop flights from Singapore to New York (Newark) will be operated seven times per week.

The flag carrier of Singapore will also be increasing frequency on the Singapore-San Francisco route with ten flights per week (Prior to this, the flights were operated seven times a week). This service will come into effect from November 28, 2018.

Currently, SIA operates 40 flights per week to the US cities including Houston, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Furthermore, these additional flight services are expected to benefit the Indians travelling to the US. David Lim, general manager India – Singapore Airlines said, “Indian travellers frequent US destinations on a year-round basis for business and leisure. By introducing the latest-technology, ultra-long-range Airbus A350-ULR aircraft complemented with enhanced comfort and increased connectivity on the Singapore to US routes, we anticipate keen interest from customers, who will consider travelling to the US through the East.”
