In September, ITC Hotels will be taking over Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, thereby introducing the hospitality chain’s first luxury property in Goa. Following this, the 252-key sea-facing resort located in South Goa will be operated under the ITC Grand brand.
ITC brought the Hyatt property from Blue Coast Hotels through an auction held by IFCI (the erstwhile Industrial Finance Corporation of India Ltd) in 2015.
“We regret to inform you that we anticipate a change in the ownership and management of the hotel on September 19, 2018. From and after this date, the hotel is expected to no longer be affiliated with Hyatt,” Hyatt said in an advisory.
Meanwhile, ITC operates a mid-market hotel property in Goa which goes by the brand name ‘Fortune’. itchotels.in hyatt.com
