Due to heavy rains and traffic congestion in Mumbai, Jet Airways, IndiGo and Vistara have offered to accommodate delayed passengers on other flights (based on seat availability). Few of them have also waived off rescheduling and cancellation charges for flights operating to and from Mumbai on July 3.
Low-cost airlines IndiGo and Vistara have announced free re-accommodation for passengers who missed the reporting time due to heavy traffic in the city.
Jet Airways has waived off penalties for changing the date or flight. Additionally, the full-service carrier also expects a delay of up to 30 minutes at Mumbai airport until 3pm.
GoAir also took to twitter to inform passengers about the disruption caused in the city due to the bridge collapse incident, this morning.
