On June 25, Westin Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of Westin Hapuna Beach Resort in Hawaii. The hotel group has partnered with Mauna Kea Resorts LLC to launch its sixth property on the Big Island. Managed by Prince Resorts Hawaii, the resort’s architecture is inspired from the flora and fauna of Hawaii.

Overlooking the Hapuna Beach, Westin Hapuna Beach Resort has 17 new suites and 232 guestrooms. Its F&B outlets include Meridia for Mediterranean-inspired dishes, Naupaka Beach Grill serving Pacific Rim cuisine, Ikena Landing for breakfast and Piko Coffee + Bar serving Hawaii’s signature Kona coffee and drinks.

A range of fitness programs and an adults-only infinity edge pool are some of the recreational facilities available at this resort.

Kisan Jo, president of Prince Resorts Hawaii said, “We are thrilled to bring the Westin brand to the Big Island of Hawaii, where we will welcome guests and the community to an elevated resort that celebrates the wellness as well as the area’s local culture and ease of island spirit. As we continue to build on the Westin brand promise of delivering to guests a best-in-class experience, the introduction of our resort signals a new wave of island luxury, furthering the Kohala Coast’s status as a sought-after destination.”westin.marriott.com
