Qatar Airways will offer its latest Q Suite business class product on its recently launched Doha-Sydney-Canberra route from next month.
The Gulf airline launched daily one-stop flights to the Australian capital in February, and from July 1 will offer the Q Suite on up to four flights per week, increasing to daily from August 1.
Features of the Q Suite include a fully-enclosing privacy door, the option of a double bed configuration, and panels and movable TV monitors on the centre four seats allowing passengers travelling together to create a private suite.
The suite is currently available on selected B777-300ER, A350-900 and A350-1000 aircraft, on flights to destinations including London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Houston and Shanghai.
Business Traveller had a look at the seat during a media event at Heathrow last year.
Qatar Airways’ other daily service to Sydney is operated by the carrier’s A380 superjumbo.
