Marriott is gearing up to open its first Edition property in Turkey next month, with reservations now open from June 12.

The Bodrum Edition is situated in a wind-sheltered cove within Yalikavak bay on Turkish Riviera, looking out onto the Aegean Sea.

Features include 102 rooms, bungalows and private villas set among 22,000sqm of land sloping down towards a 100-metre long private beach, as well as two signature restaurants by Peruvian chef Diego Munoz, formerly of El Bulli and Mugaritz.

Other facilities include 1,200sqm of indoor and outdoor events space, an infinity pool, and spa facilities including 14 treatment rooms, Turkish hammam, salt treatment room, sauna, steam rooms and plunge pool.

The hotel’s lobby and reception look out over the bay from a glass atrium, while the lobby bar features an “abundantly-planted terrace”, and the beach area offers a bar and club with private cabanas

Rates at The Bodrum Edition start from €350 including breakfast.

Last year Marriott announced plans to open seven Edition properties in 2018, in locations including Abu Dhabi, Bangkok , Barcelona and Los Angeles.
